Mack Trucks added a dozen dealerships to its network of electric vehicle-certified locations in North America, the OEM announced last week.
The EV network has grown by 23% since May to 65 EV-certified locations across the U.S. and Canada. It now spans 29 states and four Canadian provinces, the company said.
“The continued expansion of our certified EV dealership network demonstrates our commitment, and our dealers’ commitment, to a sustainable future,” said Mack Trucks North America President Jonathan Randall in the announcement.
“Together with our Mack dealers, we help make this possible by offering customers support from the purchase of the vehicle, seeking of incentives, infrastructure readiness and training to help them better acclimate to the new technology and to further the adoption of EV vehicles,” Randall added.
The latest dealerships certified to sell EV trucks include four in Canada, three in the Midwest, two in the South, and one in California, Montana and Maine, according to the company.
The Canada dealerships include Vision Truck Group’s locations in Brantford, Etobicoke and Stoney Creek, Ontario, as well as Volvo Lac St-Jean in Saint-Prime, Quebec.
Interstate Trucksource in Romulus, Michigan, and Kriete Truck Center’s dealerships in Green Bay and Sheboygan, Wisconsin, are the three additions in the Midwest.
TEC Equipment in San Diego was the lone California location, joining the EV dealership network alongside Tri-State Truck & Equipment in Billings, Montana.
Bruckner Truck & Equipment in Dallas and Tri-State Truck Center in Memphis, Tennessee, are now part of the network’s southwestern region. O’Connor Motor Co. in Portland, Maine, was the only addition to the Northeast region.
